IT - Manager
Job Summary: IT Manager
The IT Manager at Inspire Management Training Centre is responsible for managing IT infrastructure, implementing ERP & LMS solutions, overseeing mobile app management, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance. This role is critical in maintaining Odoo ERP, Moodle LMS, AWS cloud solutions, Microsoft Outlook, and mobile applications while also leading IT projects, client implementations, and system optimizations.
Additionally, the IT Manager will develop and deliver ERP/LMS demo systems, prepare business proposals, submit tenders, and provide managed IT services to corporate clients. The ideal candidate should have expertise in mobile app development, deployment, and maintenance, along with a strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the IT team to ensure smooth internal operations and client services.
Assign tasks based on expertise, workload, and business needs.
Provide technical mentorship and training to IT staff.
Monitor team performance and implement skill development programs.
IT Infrastructure & Support:
Manage, maintain, and optimize Inspire’s IT systems, including:
Odoo ERP (Finance, HR, Sales, Training Modules)
Moodle LMS (Course Management, Student & Instructor Access)
Microsoft Outlook & Office 365 (Collaboration & Communication)
AWS Cloud Services (Server hosting, data storage, and application deployment)
Mobile Applications (Development, Integration, Maintenance, & Security)
Network infrastructure, firewalls, and IT security systems
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for staff, trainers, and clients.
Implement data security policies, backup strategies, and IT governance best practices
ERP & LMS Implementation & Maintenance (Client Services):
Oversee ERP and LMS implementation projects for corporate clients.
Customize, configure, and deploy Odoo ERP & Moodle LMS as per client requirements.
Create proposal, Demo, provide technical support, post-implementation optimization, and end-user training.
Ensure seamless integration of IT solutions into client operations.
Deliver ongoing maintenance and managed IT services for client systems.
Mobile App Management:
Create, Manage and maintain Inspire’s mobile applications (Android/iOS) related to ERP, LMS, and training solutions.
Work with developers to design, update, and enhance mobile applications.
Ensure seamless integration between mobile apps and ERP/LMS platforms.
Troubleshoot mobile app performance issues and implement fixes.
Oversee app security, compliance, and user experience enhancements.
Demo System Creation & Client Presentations:
Develop and configure demo versions of Odoo ERP & Moodle LMS for potential clients.
Deliver engaging live demonstrations showcasing Inspire’s IT solutions.
Customize demo environments to align with client needs.
Gather feedback and refine systems before final implementation.
IT Projects & Implementation:
Plan and execute IT projects such as:
System upgrades and cloud migrations (AWS/Azure).
ERP/LMS enhancements and integrations.
Mobile application development and optimizations.
Cybersecurity improvements and compliance updates.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business goals.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
Implement security measures to protect data, IT infrastructure, and mobile applications.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and IT security best practices.
Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
Manage IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Business Proposals & Tender Submissions:
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for IT-related projects.
Draft and submit tender documents for ERP, LMS, and mobile app development contracts.
Work with the sales and management team to develop compelling IT solutions for clients.
Provide IT cost analysis, system architecture, and implementation roadmaps in business proposals.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Manage IT vendor relationships for software procurement, licensing, and service contracts.
Negotiate agreements with technology partners, developers, and IT suppliers.
Collaborate with corporate clients to ensure successful IT project delivery.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including:
System architecture and security policies.
ERP/LMS implementation reports.
Mobile app development and maintenance logs.
IT policies, process workflows, and regulatory compliance records.
Regularly update IT policies based on emerging technology trends and security threats.
Required Skills & Abilities:
ERP & LMS Expertise: Strong proficiency in Odoo ERP and Moodle LMS with experience in customization and integration.
Cloud & DevOps: In-depth knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, VPC), DevOps practices, CI/CD Pipelines, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux (Ubuntu), AWS DevOps, CloudFormation, and Auto Scaling.
Mobile App Development: Experience in Android/iOS development, app integration, and management using Flutter, Cordova.
Cybersecurity & Compliance: Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, ITIL, and best practices in cybersecurity.
Technical Development: Expertise in REST API development, Odoo customization, and working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, jQuery, PHP, Python, JavaScript, Java.
IT Project Management: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, manage IT projects, and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
Business & Client Engagement: Experience in developing ERP/LMS demo systems, delivering client presentations, writing business proposals, and handling tender submissions and IT service contracts.
Problem-Solving & Leadership: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
7+ years of hands-on experience in:
IT Management & Infrastructure o ERP/LMS Implementation (Odoo, Moodle)
Mobile App Development & Management (Android/iOS) o Cloud Services & DevOps (AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker)
Cybersecurity & Compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, ITIL)
Preferred Certifications: o AWS Certified Solutions Architect (for cloud infrastructure & AWS services)
ITIL Certification (for IT service management & process optimization)
Odoo/Moodle Certifications (for ERP/LMS implementation & customization)
Microsoft Azure Certification (for cloud-based application management)
CCNA (for network infrastructure & security management.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of working at a computer.
Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds (for hardware setup and troubleshooting).
